Beijing: Oh Steak! – O’Steak Bistrot
As we know, Beijing suffers (or at least I suffer) from lack of reasonable western restaurants, so every time when I discovered something good, I stick to it.
The lovely O’Steak Bistrot is one of those good things I happened to found in my last trip…
It’s relatively new (opened around July 2013), the owner is apparently from Southern France; and most importantly, it carries good standard when it comes to steaks, and offers fantastic wine list for a bistro in Beijing (not long, but solid with SANE price tags)! The steaks are well cooked, juicy, with perfect tenderness; the medium here is a normal medium-rare elsewhere though, so watch out when you order.
My recommendations: steak! T-bone Steak! The blue cheese sauce, tuna tartar (better than their beef tartar), and their amazing apple pie.
Price: RMB 150+ per person.
